What You Will Do
Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking Warehouse Associates at our Waco Distribution Center. As a Caterpillar Warehouse Associate, you support Caterpillar's customers by getting parts from our distribution centers directly to where they need them. This role includes sorting parts, building protective carriers for engines, and operating equipment, such as reach trucks and cherry pickers.
This position is ideal for those building foundational skills in the warehouse, generally within the first 24 months of their career.

Shifts:
Multiple, starting at $19.05/hrRelocation assistance not offered
English proficiency required (read, write, conduct business)
Ability to work overtime when required
Background screening, drug screening, post-offer medical questionnaire required
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Be trained to operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists (not all positions operate equipment).
Report defects and need for repairs.
Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust prevention.
Perform housekeeping functions as required.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
Safety Mindset: Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.
Experience: Minimum age 18 and early career in warehouse (first 24 months).
Time Management: Reliable, on-time attendance and ability to reach productivity goals.
Adaptability: Ability to work in varying temperatures, overtime when required, eagerness to learn processes.
Collaborative: Promote teamwork to meet shared goals.
Communication: Clear info sharing, listening, resolve issues, English proficiency.
Thoroughness: Perform quality checks, accuracy, follow instructions, clerical functions and basic math.
Agility: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, sit, stand, squat, bend repetitively, throughout shift.
Base wage $19.05/hr (paid weekly)
Night shift premium $1.50/hr for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Weekend shift premium $2.12/hr.
Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half.
