Inventory Coordinator
The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product. Main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking. Coordinates relationships with plants to facilitate elimination of out‑of‑stock and over‑stock situations, communicates to Demand Planning any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinates resolution, involving central planning.
Job OverviewThe Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product. This role acts as the main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking. The coordinator coordinates relationships with plants to eliminate out‑of‑stock and over‑stock situations, communicates service issues related to stock availability to Demand Planning, and coordinates resolution with central planning.
Shift and Schedule- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 am until finished
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Local routes
- Conduct a physical inventory of full goods using RF handheld scanning equipment and a physical inventory of raw materials and concentrates, keying inventories into spreadsheets and SAP.
- Perform an age inventory of product in the warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
- Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures and processes; research outstanding issues related to inventory reconciliation; reconcile any inventory discrepancies and handle follow‑up questions from customers.
- Issue out any production/warehouse inventory breakage and any employee product usage and post full goods inventory without discrepancies.
- Handle period‑ending inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to plant operations.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports related to inventory.
- Run production labels.
- Ensure SOX compliance following the SOX checklists related to inventory.
- May also support warehouse operations, including shift‑based oversight for forklift operators.
- $22.19 - $23.50 per hour

- 2 years of experience in supply planning or inventory control.
- 2 years of experience using RF technology.
- 2 years of experience with SAP or a similar warehouse management system.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
