WHS Student Concessions Worker

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Afast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schoolsserves4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that could include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and attention to detail, work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment, and demonstrate recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of students, staff, the public, and vendors. Qualified candidates can work independently while handling a variety of tasks, as follows:

• Greeting guests pleasantly
• Preparing simple foods
• Filling food and beverage orders
• Cleaning facility and equipment
• Restocking / reporting inventory
• Operating the Point of Sale system
• Collecting money for purchased food and beverage items

The starting hourly rate for this position is $11.41/hour.
