Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! A fast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany.

School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 2:15 pm

Position Summary:

The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and help teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities. This position includes daily recess duties.

Qualifications:

An Associate's degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the Para Pro assessment which must be taken within 30 days of employment.

Compensation:
Pursuant to the Educational Support Professionals' Collective Bargaining Agreement, this is a Grade 9 position from $17.92 to $24.54 per hour depending on experience plus a part-time benefits package.
