Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Educational Supervisor, the Kidspace Site Lead is responsible for coordinating the scheduling and daily activities of the Kidspaceprogram at a school building site in addition to performing all duties required of Kidspace Leads in the department’s before and after school programs and summer programs.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 5:45pm

Qualifications

: A High School diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 1-year experience working with children is preferred. The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of children. The successful candidate will be detail oriented and enjoy being part of a team.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate from $17.89- $22.18, dependent upon qualifications
