Anesthesia Medical Coder

This full-time, on-site Medical Coder role is based in Waconia, MN. The Medical Coder will perform daily responsibilities including reviewing medical records, assigning accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and coding guidelines. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare providers for coding accuracy and collaborating with the billing team to resolve discrepancies and ensure efficient claims submission.

• Position is open to apprentice level, recent graduates and experience coders**
• Knowledge of Health Information Management, including Medical Terminology and healthcare documentation standards
• Relevant credentials such as CPC from AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in coding software systems
• Working knowledge of compliance and regulations in medical billing and coding
• Experience in the fields of Anesthesia, Pain Management, or related specialties is a plus
• Experience working in and navigating EMRs is a plus

Position is fulltime Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm at the BCS office in Waconia, MN. Pay is $21.00/hr+ Depending upon background and experience.
