Travel required between Chaska and Waconia

This casual position is responsible for the delivery of individualized patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Care and Practice as defined by Ridgeview Medical Center, the Minnesota Nurse Practice Standards Act, and the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Three years of medical/surgical experience in acute care

• Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to work and multi-task in a high stress and fast paced environment
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

• Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or if licensed in another state, a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• ACLS Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Endoscopy experience
