Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Every Other Weekend

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00/hour based on experience + $1.00/hour weekend differential

At Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, we're hiring a Full-Time Day Shift Caregiver / CNA to help our residents start their days feeling comfortable, respected, confident, and cared for.

Be the Familiar Face at the Start of Their Day

Morning care is some of the most personal care we provide.

You'll help residents get out of bed, get dressed, prepare for breakfast, move safely through their morning routines, and get ready for whatever their day holds.

But how you do those things matters just as much as getting them done.

You'll learn which resident likes to sleep a few extra minutes. Who wants to pick out their own clothes. Who needs a little encouragement in the morning. Who loves conversation and who prefers a quieter start.

That's the difference between completing tasks and actually knowing the person you're caring for.

• $18.00 - $24.00/hour based on experience
• Full-Time
• Consistent 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM day shift
• Every other weekend
• Hands-on experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care

• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Support residents living with memory loss
• Help residents prepare for meals and activities
• Follow individualized care plans and daily routines
• Provide companionship and encouragement
• Notice and communicate changes in a resident's condition or behavior
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable living environment
• Work alongside caregivers and nursing staff to provide dependable care

Some mornings will be busy.

Others will give you more time for conversation.

Either way, you'll be an important part of someone's routine.

• Dependable and ready to be there when residents need them
• Patient and compassionate
• Observant when something doesn't seem quite right
• Willing to communicate with nursing staff
• A supportive teammate
• Interested in learning and developing their caregiving skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift
