Senior Property Manager – Tax Credit (LIHTC) Muti-Family

We are seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee operations, optimize financial performance, and ensure an exceptional living experience for our residents at two of our multi-family Section 42 (Tax Credit) apartment communities.

Hourly Pay
:
From $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Annual Clothing Allowance:$200 per year to be used at the Velair Clothing Store within the designated shopping period.

Regular Schedule
:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional work outside of standard business hours as required by business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain occupancy rates above 95% by implementing effective leasing and retention strategies.
  • Maximize net operating income through proactive rent collection and cost management.
  • Foster strong, professional relationships with residents, prospective tenants, vendors, and team members.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws and property management regulations.
  • Lead and mentor your team in all aspects of property operations, including marketing and leasing, maintenance, program compliance, resident relations, and financial performance.
  • Oversee the make-ready process to ensure units are move-in ready.
  • Maintain the property’s curb appeal and operational safety through routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Represent Velair professionally with a polished and business-appropriate appearance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Certifications
  • Required:

    High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 2–4-year degree in a related field and previous property management experience.
  • Desirable

    Certifications:

    ARM, COS, TCS, RAM, Licensed Real Estate Agent, or similar credentials preferred.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of property management experience (multi-family housing preferred).
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience with a proven track record in team leadership.
