Field Service Technician - Travel Around Midwest

Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and want a career that gets you out of the shop and into the field? We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow into a Field Service Technician role. No previous field service experience is required—we provide hands-on training.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, farming, construction, maintenance, automotive repair, welding, military service, or anyone who enjoys fixing things and learning new skills.
What You'll Learn- Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair
- Conveyor, elevator, and material handling systems
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
- Basic welding and equipment repair techniques
- Pneumatic and air systems troubleshooting
- Customer service and field support
- Safety procedures and equipment operation
- Reading service reports and maintenance documentation
- Travel to customer sites with experienced technicians
- Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial and agricultural equipment
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and operational issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment adjustments
- Help repair conveyors, elevators, blenders, valves, and related equipment
- Assist with welding repairs and equipment modifications
- Test equipment after maintenance and repairs
- Complete service reports and maintenance records
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow all company safety procedures

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
