Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout a hotel in Wadebridge.

The successful candidates will help ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and ready for guests, while working as part of a busy housekeeping team.

Key Duties

Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, bathrooms and allocated hotel areas to the required standard.
Change bed linen, towels and other room amenities as required.
Replenish toiletries and guest supplies.
Vacuum, mop, dust and clean surfaces and fixtures thoroughly.
Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues, damages or missing items to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness of designated public areas when required.
Follow hotel cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements and hygiene standards.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care and professionalism.
Work efficiently as part of the housekeeping team to meet daily room targets.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and good standards of cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, hardworking and physically fit.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Desirable Experience

Previous hotel housekeeping experience.
Experience working in a busy hotel or resort environment.
Knowledge of professional cleaning procedures and standards.
