- Daily cash application of lockbox and electronic payments by batching and balancing in accounting system
- Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments
- Apply incoming payments to appropriate customer accounts and invoices
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts and billing issues
- Prepare and analyze aging reports and escalate collection issues when necessary
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all AR transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service, finance) to resolve billing concerns
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
