EAH is owned and supported by Cortec Group, a premier private equity firm. Cortec has invested millions of dollars to expand EAH’s operations, facilities, technology, and leadership. Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems.
Position DescriptionOur ideal candidate for this position will possess a positive attitude, strong automotive/mechanical and detailing background, and a passion to positively impact change within the organization. This person will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to follow instructions, work in a team environment, and successfully resolve issues with a positive, upbeat attitude, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time opportunity that reports to the Shop Manager at our Wadsworth, Ohio facility.
- Install, test fit and validate new and existing parts in terms of quality, functionality, and performance
- Perform repair and maintenance to company vehicles as needed to keep vehicles in top shape.
- Provide detailed reporting of work completed daily on all projects
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and R&D facilities
- Assist in the coordination of sourcing, pickup, drop off, and delivery of customer vehicles
- Document the installation requirements and capture photographic steps to facilitate technical documentation.
- 2+ years’ experience in general automotive repair and maintenance
- 1+ years’ experience in steering, suspension, braking, exhaust, turbo/supercharger, engine, and drivetrain systems
- Attention to detail with the constant pursuit of raising the bar
- Self-motivated team player, with the ability to identify tasks without supervision
- Ability to lead with a strong interest in positively impacting change
- Upbeat and positive attitude, Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high sense of urgency environment
- Willingness to seek guidance when needed
- Must have clean driving record
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- High School Diploma
- In depth European automotive knowledge (BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, MINI, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz)
- 3+ years’ experience in engine management diagnosis / repair
- 2+ years’ experience in automotive control modules, electrical systems, and wiring
- 3+ years’ experience in automotive detailing, including washing, polishing, waxing, paint correction
- Successful completion of an automotive technician education (ASE, UTI, UNOH, etc.)
- Vinyl wrap installation experience is a plus
- Charismatic personality that is comfortable explaining and performing repairs in front of a virtual audience.
- Ability to complete installations and other tasks on time with minimal in-process guidance
- Excellent communication with the engineering team and project coordinators to improve designs and overall customer experience with our products
- Excellent communication with cross-functional teams across the organization
- Ability to consistently maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a bias for action
