Engineering Co-Op (Fall/Spring)
Hubbell is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Co-Op to support ongoing projects within our engineering and operations teams. This role will be responsible for organizing and creating a system for spare parts management, updating and managing CAD drawings, and developing value stream maps to identify process improvement opportunities. This role will sit onsite in Wadsworth, Ohio at our Metal Oxide Viristor manufacturing plant.
A Day In The Life
- Organize, standardize and implement a spare parts inventory system including updating part numbers and creating work instructions to ensure accurate cycle counts.
- Update and revise facility AutoCAD drawings for utility management.
- Create value stream maps to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to gather feedback on projects.
- Support other engineering and continuous improvement projects as needed.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
