Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking an experienced  
** Maintenance Technician
** to support production operations and ensure manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities supporting production operations.

+ Ensure manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

+ Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel on opposite shifts to ensure continuity of repairs and projects.

+ Coordinate with production teams regarding downtime and repair timelines.

+ Perform electrical installation and repair of outlets, lighting, fans, building fixtures, conduit, wiring, and machinery hookups.

+ Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair components, test systems, and adjust machinery as needed.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled production equipment.

+ Work safely with electrical systems and testing equipment up to 480V.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and technical documents.

+ Assist engineering teams with installation, startup, and debugging of new automated equipment.

+ Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and safe operation of mobile equipment.

+ Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

** Qualifications*
* ** Required*
* + High school diploma or GED.

+ Minimum of 3 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor controls.

+ Ability to install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial equipment using schematics and technical documentation.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

+ Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

+ Ability to work the required shift schedule and overtime as needed.

** Preferred*
* + Associate degree, apprenticeship, or formal training in Maintenance Technology or a related field.

+ Additional trade certifications.

+ Experience in metal stamping, forming, forging, or similar manufacturing environments.

+

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated machinery.

Work Environment Requirements *
* + Onsite manufacturing environment.

+ Frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and use of PPE.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

+ Heavy physical demands throughout the workday.

+ May assist other departments as business needs require.

** Compensation & Benefits*
* + $25.00-$31.00 per hour, based on experience.

+ Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.
