Assembler B

This role is on the first shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM), M-F, with some overtime. 3-4 month temporary position.

Basic Function:
Perform all duties of an Assembler.

Scope/Supervision:
Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members and supervisors across all departments.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble all products in the identified value stream
• Support operations in the assembly department
• Pull jobs and put parts away as needed
• Support and participate in all LEAN activities and actively problem-solve issues
• Follow all OSHA compliance regulations
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be an effective team member and perform other duties as required by supervision and as responsibilities necessitate

Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy

Proven ability to use various computer programs to access needed documents

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player

Strict adherence to 5S+Safety

Follow all OSHA compliance regulations

Be an active member of High Performance Team(s)

Attendance is required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High level of mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Must have basic math skills (i.e. metric conversion)
• Ability to utilize measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, tape measure)
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25lbs., and occasionally lift over 40lbs. with team assistance
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to withstand repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, ladders, and squatting
• Daily attendance is required.
