Human Resources Expert Overview
  • Understanding federal, state and local employment laws
  • Using basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs
  • Effectively using scheduling software
Responsibilities
  • Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:
  • Greet guests with a friendly smile, eye contact or wave from both 10 ft and 4 ft distances.
  • Help guests find what they need, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
  • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
  • Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring guest experience.
  • Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs for each area of the business.
  • Lead focused recruiting efforts for store leaders.
  • Support training needs and advocate for continuous learning.
  • Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
  • Be approachable, available, and collaborative to take action as needed.
  • Deliver all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption.
  • Support compliance policies to mitigate risk to the team member experience.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely, comply with all safety policies, and report hazards.
  • Perform all other duties based on business needs.

Additional Physical and Work Conditions
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
  • Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.
  • Remain mobile throughout a scheduled shift, with shift length varying.
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays); come to work when scheduled and take required meal and rest breaks.
