Your Day at Lowe'sYour responsibilities will include keeping shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Additionally, you may assist customers with locating or loading products as needed. Most shifts involve physical activity, and the schedule may include morning, evening, or overnight shifts based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
- Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use.
- Operate store equipment, including scanners and balers, as necessary.
- Collaborate with your team to complete additional assigned tasks.
- Utilizing the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
- Loading delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Rotating orders based on delivery dates and resolving order issues.
- Proactively communicating with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
- Implementing best practices for Delivery Readiness.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment, such as lifts and order pickers.
- 6 months experience in a warehouse environment focused on inventory handling and stocking.

Travel RequirementsThis role generally does not involve regular travel, but occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores.
Working ConditionsEnvironmental factors vary by location, and you may work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, being exposed to varying climates. You must follow guidelines that limit single lifts to 75 pounds, utilizing team lifts when necessary and using powered equipment as required.
