Electrical Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Wadsworth, OH 44281
Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Training will be conducted on 1st
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a minimum of 2 months before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Pay: Up to $32.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Our manufacturing facility in Wadsworth, Ohio is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd Shift team. This role is critical to maintaining and improving the reliability of our extrusion production lines.
A strong electrical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment is required for this position. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with PLC logic controls and understand the interface of drives, motors, and related components.
What You’ll Do- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment including extrusion lines, pelletizers, blenders, and auxiliary systems
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
- Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete work orders accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
- Assist with occasional fabrication (welding), screw pulls, and machine changeovers
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols
- Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in electrical maintenance (required)
- Experience with PLC logic controls and drive-to-motor interfaces
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Must be able to commute to Wadsworth, OH 44281

Competitive Pay: Up to $32.00/hour (DOE)
