Dutch Language Café Volunteer: Lead Dutch Talks

As a volunteer at the Language Café, you guide a group of participants in holding conversations in Dutch. The best way to master a language is by practicing a lot. And that is much more fun and easier together with others. At the Dutch Language Café, participants practice speaking Dutch. Everyone who wants to learn Dutch is welcome.

At each meeting, we talk about an everyday theme, such as professions, health, or food and drink. We discuss this using simple questions, images, and audio clips.

As a volunteer, you will guide a group of 5-8 people. You will be together with other volunteers in the evening – which is nice and sociable, and convenient if you want to consult with someone.

The Dutch Language Café is held every Wednesday evening from 19:30 to 21:00. Even if you are not available every week, you are very welcome to join our team.

You have a good command of the Dutch language. You are patient, friendly, and culturally sensitive. You are creative in devising exercises and can improvise well.
