Job SummaryThe Production Operator is an important member of the CF Industries team and plays a major role in helping the company achieve safety excellence, environmental compliance, and maximum production. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production process and its equipment, and you will significantly impact the facility’s personal safety, emergency preparedness, and response performance. This role requires working 12‑hour rotational shifts, nights, and weekend shifts.
Job Responsibilities- Champion the pursuit of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, including proper use of personal protective equipment, implementation of established safety procedures, hazard identification, and communication of findings.
- Operate valves and instruments to adjust fluid levels, flows, temperatures, pressures, speeds, and control startup/shutdown of mechanical equipment, making necessary process adjustments to maintain operational tolerances.
- Investigate unusual process or mechanical situations and recommend corrective action.
- Achieve and maintain competency in all operator functions of the assigned production area, including process monitoring, control, and assist in training less experienced operators.

Diagnose and resolve equipment failures or process upsets.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Two years of trade school or college education preferred.
- Must pass pre‑employment screening examinations and assessments.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) card.
