Press Shop Supervisor - PM shift

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a full-time skilled Night Shift Press Shop Supervisor to oversee the press department and assigned personnel while ensuring production goals and order deadlines are met in coordination with plant leadership.

• Supervise and oversee all personnel assigned to the press department during the night shift.
• Train new employees assigned to the department and verify adherence to established procedures and policies.
• Perform visual inspections including first-piece inspections, sample reviews, and setup checks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for work orders and restock materials as necessary.
• Ensure non-conformance reports are completed when required and forwarded to the Quality Assurance department for proper documentation and resolution.
• Verify all new equipment is properly calibrated prior to use, appropriately stored to prevent deterioration, clearly identified, and handled in a suitable manner.
• Promote and enforce continuous quality improvement objectives within the department.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment while ensuring personnel operate efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure production schedules and order deadlines are achieved.

• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic presses, plate rolls, and iron working equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to liaise effectively with other supervisors and departments.
• Capable of stepping into any position within the department as needed.
• Ability to independently problem-solve and address operational challenges with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Ability to work on feet for extended periods during shift hours.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as required.
