Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Or Medical Technologist (MT)

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team at Wagoner Community Hospital by performing laboratory tests that are essential for diagnosing and treating patients. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field for MLT, or a Bachelor's degree biology or chemistry MT
• Current certification or eligibility for certification by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas of laboratory science.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests on various biological specimens.
