FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AND JANITORIAL STAFF
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Under direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and the Board of Commissioners, responsible for building operations and services including general maintenance of courthouse facilities and grounds.
- Perform maintenance including replacement of lighting and air filters.
- Respond to alarm calls including those after hours.
- Maintenance of Courthouse grounds including mowing, trimming, etc.
- Ensure all public areas including hallways, restroom facilities, county offices and courtrooms are clean, sanitary, free from obstruction and have adequate supplies.
- Responsible for adherence to all county safety regulations and participation in the county safety training program.
- Perform general physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, stooping, balancing and handling materials.
- Ability to operate machinery including hand tools and lawn maintenance equipment.
- Read and understand direction on chemical supplies and proper use of personal protection equipment.
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid Driver’s License Required.
