Bundle/Hydrotesting Machinist/Inspector needed for a manufacturing company who engineers gas, liquid, and engine air-cooled exchangers that are engine and electric motor driven.
Must have experience setting up side frames, assembling tubes into headers, able to roll tubes into headers, and hydrotesting. Must be able to use strong inspection and documentation skills.
Job Description:
- Cleaning the tube bundle and performing visual inspections.
- Installing blind flanges on nozzle connections.
- Filling the tube side with water and vent air to prevent trapped air pockets.
- Apply pressure gradually and hold test pressure so you may inspect for pressure drops or leaks.
- Depressurize, drain, and dry the unit.
Temporary to Full-time employment
Day Shift (5am - 5:30pm)
Pay is based off of experience.
