The Wagoner County Detention Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

No correctional nursing experience is required. If you're an LPN with strong nursing skills and a willingness to learn, we'll help you become comfortable working in the detention healthcare setting.
What You'll DoWorking within the LPN scope of practice and under the direction of the facility healthcare provider:
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
- Complete medication pass and required documentation
- Respond to patient medical needs and medical emergencies
Assist with intake screenings and chronic care - Communicate changes or concerns to the healthcare provider
- Follow provider protocols, treatment plans, and written or verbal medical orders
- Current Oklahoma LPN license
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass a background investigation
- Able to pass a drug screen.
