The Wagoner County Detention Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

What You'll Do

Working within the LPN scope of practice and under the direction of the facility healthcare provider:

  • Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
  • Complete medication pass and required documentation
  • Respond to patient medical needs and medical emergencies

    Assist with intake screenings and chronic care
  • Communicate changes or concerns to the healthcare provider
  • Follow provider protocols, treatment plans, and written or verbal medical orders
Requirements
  • Current Oklahoma LPN license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass a background investigation
  • Able to pass a drug screen.
