• Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering
• Provides Tier I-II support for system and network operations to include configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise IT infrastructure
• Performs troubleshooting of servers, network devices, and operating systems
• Participates in the upgrading of operating systems and design of systems enhancements
• Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems
• Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves operating/hardware system problems
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• Participates in special projects as required

• Education:
  
  BS/BA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, OR the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
• Required Experience:
  
  2+ years of related experience; military experience preferred
• Required Technical
  
  Skills:
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques;
    Knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment
  • Provide network administration on configurations and perform diagnostics on the network infrastructure; voice / data systems architecture
  • Provide expertise in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, and various communications devices
  • Coordinate requirements in conjunction with Network Enterprise Center (NEC), as necessary, to resolve failures of interfaces and networks
  • Develop operating procedures, monitors the ongoing operation of a complex network environment
• Certification:
  Network+, CCNA, or SEC+ is required
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

  Skills and Abilities:
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certification
  • Superb communication skills
  • Must be able to perform with minimal guidance
• Location:
  
  On Customer Site/moderate travel to other customer sites throughout Pacific AoR
