Fire Alarm System Mechanic
Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Fire Alarm System Mechanic to provide support for our government customer in Oahu, Hawai'i.
Description Of ResponsibilitiesOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Degree/Education/CertificationNICET Level I
NICET Level II
Required Skills And ExperienceMust be able to test, inspect, maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair various fire alarm and life safety systems, controls and equipment with minimal supervision.
Perform and complete all work and reports in accordance to applicable codes and site standard operating procedures in a timely manner.
Working knowledge of solid-state and conventional control circuitry
Familiarity with basic mathematical functions as required
Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools
Extensive knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Ability/Skills to interface with fire and life safety computer based operating systems.
NICET Level I in Fire Alarm Systems and factory trained within 12 months of hire and directly supervised by NICET II certified technician in Fire Alarm Systems
NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems and factory trained within 18 months
Two (2) years of experience in the fire alarm maintenance field
Required Citizenship And ClearanceMust be a U.S. Citizen
Active Top Secret/ SCI with Polygraph
Compensation Details$55.60 per hour
The compensation range or hourly rate provided is a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and applicable laws.
