- Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, tractors with scrapers, off-road trucks, skid steers, and compactors on civil construction sites
- Utilize GPS equipment for precise operation and project execution
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and safety checks on assigned equipment
- Accurately complete equipment maintenance and inspection reports
- Work collaboratively with the civil crew to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations at all times
- Adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities as project needs evolve
- Work extended hours during the civil construction season, with limited weekend work as required
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, tractors with scrapers, off-road trucks, skid steers, and compactors
- Familiarity with GPS equipment operation
- Ability to perform and document daily preventative maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
Ability to work extended hours during peak construction season - Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and changing work assignments
- Ability to complete tasks within established deadlines while maintaining quality
- Previous commercial construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
