City Brew Hall | Wahpeton, ND

City Brew Hall is hiring a Part-Time Events Lead to help execute on-brand events and ensure guests have a great experience during event nights. This role is focused on on-site presence, organization, and guest experience and is ideal for someone comfortable taking the lead during events and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

This position supports both low-lift, repeatable events and occasional larger seasonal activations, allowing ownership to step back from day‑of execution.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • Flexible weekday hours for light planning and preparation
  • 1–2 on‑site event nights per week
  • Evening availability required
  • Weekend availability required, including approximately two Saturdays per month
  • Event schedules are shared in advance whenever possible
COMPENSATION
  • $20–25/hour, based on experience
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Serve as the on‑site lead during scheduled events
  • Welcome guests and help set the tone for the space
  • Ensure event areas (patio, Brewcade, dining areas) are clean, set up, and guest‑ready
  • Double‑check FOH setup completed by service staff
  • Coordinate with the Manager on Duty prior to event start
  • Help maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming atmosphere
  • Ensure approved event supplies (crafts, décor, s’mores, etc.) are prepared and available
  • Share simple event reminders or stories using existing brand templates
  • Communicate event details clearly with staff
  • Provide a brief post‑event recap with observations and notes
EVENT EXAMPLES

Events are on‑brand and range from low‑lift, repeatable activations to occasional larger‑scale experiences that require additional planning and on‑site coordination. Examples include:

  • Patio happy hours or patio parties
  • S’mores nights
  • DIY craft or family‑friendly activity nights
  • Cookies with Santa
  • Black light bingo
  • Seasonal or themed Saturdays
  • Outdoor, parking lot, or street‑dance / carnival style events
WHO YOU ARE
  • Warm, friendly, and naturally outgoing
  • Comfortable being guest‑facing and visible
  • Brings positive energy and helps keep the vibe right
  • Presents yourself in a polished, on‑brand way appropriate for a hospitality environment
  • Organized, reliable, and calm under light pressure
  • Enjoys hospitality and making events feel effortless for guests
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Events feel organized, intentional, and welcoming
  • Guests stay longer and enjoy themselves
  • Staff feel supported during events
  • Ownership does not need to be on‑site
  • Event nights feel better and busier than typical nights

This is a high‑impact role with the opportunity to grow into additional event or front‑of‑house leadership responsibilities over time or could be combined with a serving/bartending position for more hours.
