Job Description JOB SUMMARYInitiate, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and automated machinery to support new and existing products. Plan, implement, and maintain relative manufacturing engineering activities in order to meet plant targets, initiating and implementing action plans for continuous improvement of relevant processes.
This position is full‑time during regular business hours and is on‑call when necessary. Some travel may be required for this position.
How You Will Make An Impact- Translate production manufacturing process requirements into actionable process designs and automated machinery.
- Design and implement overall factory processes and equipment according to sound lean principles and standards, supporting necessary industrialization activities of associated and affected product specifications.
- Ensure the installation, start‑up, validation, production handover, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automated machinery according to applicable production control plans and standards.
- Maintain records for purposes of monitoring, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing engineering and production process performance, initiating and implementing control measures to improve manufacturing engineering and production process performance.
THE ROLE
- B.S. Degree in industrial or mechanical engineering required.
- 5–10 Years of industrial experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Works safely and keeps work area clear of potential hazards, knows and understands company EHS policies.
- Knowledge of operating methods and procedures as they relate to their department.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner which will consistently meet supervisor expectations.
- Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures. Interfaces and cooperates with first‑line supervision effectively.
- Analytical thinking to introduce new innovations to production processes.
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, etc.
- The job is within a non‑climate‑controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
