Resident Assistant Qualifications and Requirements:

* Must be an NDSCS student taking 9 credits (academic year)

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to get along with residents of various cultures and backgrounds

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Excellent leadership and public speaking skills

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to respond to and assess urgent situations

BACKGROUND CHECK: NDSCS requires a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to an official offer of the position.

This position is subject to North Dakota Veteran's Preference requirements and follows NDUS Policy 601.0 Veterans' Preference. An NBG 22 or DD-214 must be provided if claiming veterans' preference.
