Internship placements are based on both candidate preferences and business needs. Although location preferences will be considered, placement at a specific location cannot be guaranteed and is dependent on functional and location availability (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi).

• Analyze scrap trends, identify root causes, and support projects that reduce waste and improve quality performance.
• Develop tools, reports, and training materials to improve scrap tracking, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Support the creation and maintenance of corrective action and 8D databases to track customer concerns, root causes, and resolutions.
• Assist in developing lessons learned systems that capture and share best practices across the organization.
• Participate in data-driven quality improvement projects focused on reducing defects, customer concerns, and operational issues.
• Gain hands-on experience with auditing processes through Internal Auditor training and participation in QOS and Layered Process Audits (LPAs).
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and present project results to leadership.

This internship provides hands-on experience in quality systems, problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions, auditing, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing or corporate environment depending on placement.
