JOB SUMMARY:

Teach lecture and/or lab courses in Building Construction Technology and/or Construction Management Technology Spring 2026 and/or during the  academic year.

Instructional teaching assignments may include:

(Teaching assignments are flexible to adjust to individual expertise)

* Rough Carpentry / Exterior Finishes Labs

* Interior Finishes / Finish Carpentry Labs

* Project Supervision

* Commercial Print Reading

* Commercial Finishes

* Construction Scheduling

Adjunct faculty are expected to embrace the use of technology as it relates to teaching, demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of students, and work effectively in a team-centered environment.

Minimum Requirements

* Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS

* Two-year degree in Building Construction Technology or related area OR equivalent education and experience

* Relevant work experience in the constructions field

* Effective oral and written communication skills

* Computer and technology literacy

* Ability to function in a team environment

* Flexibility to teach students of varying abilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate in Applied Science in Building Construction Technology or related field

* Industry experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Commercial construction experience

* Rough carpentry experience

* Concrete construction experience

* Construction layout experience

* Construction estimating and scheduling experience

* Construction management experience

* Teaching or training experience

Additional Information

PAY:
Current adjunct pay rate (calculated per credit taught)
