Job Overview
Salesforce Software Developer, Mid skill level. As a Salesforce developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts.
You’ll work through all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and third‑party integrations.
You will serve as an advisor to our clients, guiding them on how to adopt new technologies or add new features to support their mission. Your role has an impact from day one.
You will apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform, following best practices and utilizing declarative capabilities where appropriate. Key skills include building clean, maintainable Apex code with governor limits in mind, working with Lightning Web Components, and mentoring junior team members. You will also advise government clients on ways to improve and modernize existing systems.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to deliver Salesforce solutions.
- Configure, customize, and implement Salesforce applications and third‑party integrations.
- Advise clients on technology adoption and feature enhancements.
- Write clean, maintainable Apex code while respecting governor limits.
- Utilize Lightning Web Components and Salesforce declarative capabilities.
- Mentor and grow junior team members.
- Support government clients in improving and modernizing their systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with committing code and metadata to Git repositories.
- Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination, as required.
- High‑school diploma or GED.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Experience with federal government or healthcare IT.
- Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tools, including Git Hub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum.
- Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C/C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent client‑facing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary will be determined by a variety of factors including location, education, skills, experience, and contractual requirements.
