Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (required for all positions except designated Career and Technology Education (CTE) roles).
- Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit at time of hire.
- Enroll in an approved Teacher's Education Program within three years of hire if the applicant has not yet completed a program.
- Demonstrate active pursuit toward meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year of employment, as set forth by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB).
- Ensure that the enrolled program aligns with the teaching line for which the applicant is hired.
