Base pay range$20.00/hr - $20.00/hr
fall We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dependable, and trustworthy individual with good customer service skills and Exper detail oriented to join Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM). The full-time Custodian will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and performing basic maintenance tasks in accordance with assigned duties. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.

- Clean, sweep, mop, and disinfect tables, chairs, windowsills, glass windows, and countertops
- Dust common areas, including hallways, stairways, food courts, and restrooms (ensure toilet seats and urinals are cleaned)
- Restock cleaning supplies Artists
- Ability to stand and work in warm/hot weather
- Multi-task and work efficiently, both independently and within a team
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Report safety issues or building problems (e.g., burnt light bulbs)
- Notify the appropriate HBM employee regarding supplies and equipment needed for cleaning tasks
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience as a custodian or in a related field is advantageous, though training will be provided.
- Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions in English.
- Strong public relations and communication skills are necessary.
- Applicants should be prepared to perform basic manual labor,ūs regularly lift, press, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 50–100lbs.
- Physical capabilitieschst include reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking, and standing throughout shifts.
- Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday: 2pm‑10:30pm / Days off:
Friday/Saturday - Compensation: $20.00/per hour
