ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT CANDIDATE TO FILL OUR STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION.

As the Assistant Store Manager you would be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing and managing our Queens Market location at Waikoloa Beach Resort. In partnership with the Store Manager you will help shape the customer service experience and set the operational and selling standards.

This position reports to the Store Manager. Responsibilities:
  • Act as a role model and business leader for the team by exemplifying company values and providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager as a co-leader and talent manager in setting standards, recruiting, developing and training sales colleagues.
  • Help manage daily operational activities, including cash handling procedures, the processing of daily incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments.
  • Communicate product and inventory needs. Proactively follow current competitors, fashion trends, and industry news.
  • Ensure a high level of merchandise and visual standards.
  • Oversee employee performance and serve as a resource for any information relating to sales, product and customer service.
  • Maintain operational standards, including stock room organization, loss prevention, POS, and communicate deficiencies.
  • Familiarity with HR, including hiring, coaching, and policies.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
Requirements:
  • 2 years minimum of work experience in a Assistant Manager role, speciality retail preferred.
  • Ability to professionally interact with Customers, Colleagues, and Vendor Partners.
  • Emotional intelligence: healthy interpersonal behavior, positive attitude, self-aware, curious to learn and seeks feedback from others to continuously grow.
  • Have a high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when the opportunity arises.
  • Tech savy, familiar with retail systems, computers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in setting priorities according to business needs.
  • Ability to work in a retail environment with constant movement and standing.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
