We're seeking a General Dentist to join an established dental team in Maui, Hawaii, on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys comprehensive general dentistry, values building relationships with patients, and is comfortable working with a diverse, multicultural community.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Permanent, full-time position
• MON-FRI |
  8AM-5PM ** Dental team finishes daily by 5P
• All ages served, with primarily adult patients and a smaller pediatric population
• Established team of 3 full-time dentists, 3 RDHs, and 2 DAs per dentist
• Teaching opportunity by assisting with supervising NYU Langone residents

CLINICAL SCOPE

You'll have the opportunity to provide a broad range of general dentistry, including:

• Comprehensive preventative & restorative care + some emergency care
  • Extractions (simple & surgical)
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Composite fillings
  • Dentures/implants
  • Root canals and uncomplicated endodontics
  • Minor oral surgery

Complex cases and molar endodontics can be passed to another dentist within the clinic or referred out, allowing you to practice within your comfort level.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

Ideal candidates may have some connection to Hawaii - whether through family, frequent visits, a love of surfing and the outdoors, or simply an appreciation for the island lifestyle.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; 1 year may be considered
• General Dentist with a broad clinical skill set
• Comfortable treating a diverse patient population
• Warm, welcoming, and patient-centered personality
• Comfortable supervising and supporting dental residents (required)
• Someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a community-focused practice

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Starting salary of $180,000+ , based on experience + yearly incentives bases off patient volume & quality metrics
• $15,000 sign-on bonus, paid with your first paycheck
• Malpractice and gap insurance, licenses, and applicable fees covered
• Medical, Vision, Dental (premiums paid 100% by clinic), 403b w/match
