Technical Support
· Assists in the deployment and configuration of IT systems including phone system, biometrics/door access systems and print servers.
· Second point of contact for network or application issues that impact the organization.
· Installs, configures, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains approved new and existing IT infrastructure, software, and computers.
· Interfaces with third party vendors when necessary.
· Provides helpdesk support to staff.
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team by offering support and/or ideas to enable staff to reach goals.
- Attends and participates in meetings and committees as requested and scheduled.
- Attends additional training sessions to improve deficiencies or enhance knowledge/skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, IT related degree/coursework.
Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience in an IT-related position.
- Familiarity with Healthcare and/or the Community Health Center industry and practices preferred.
- Experience working with Healthcare Information Systems, preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural setting, the community served by our clinic, and network with community partners and resources
Must follow the organization's policies, procedures, protocols and instructions.
Must have high integrity and maintain consistent organizational standards, including always obtaining authorization prior to making any changes that could lead to any security risk.
· Familiarity with Networking Infrastructure.
· Familiarity with VMWare 7.0.
· Familiarity with print servers.
· Knowledge of VOIP based PBX systems.
· Familiarity with CAT5 wiring infrastructure.
· Knowledge of Sonicwall Firewalls, Unifi Cloud Key, Unifi Network, Access and Protect
· Knowledge of Office 365 and Exchange 365
· Ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees of organizations.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees of the organization.
· Ability to keep abreast of current procedures and requirements affecting Malama I Ke Ola Health Center and health care technology systems.
· Exceptional planning, time management, problem solving and logical troubleshooting computer skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills including telephone conversations and face-to-face.
· Process-oriented with documentation and project management skills.
· Individual must show initiative and motivation and must demonstrate successful interpersonal relationship skills.
· Extensive knowledge of HIPAA.
Certifications- Valid driver’s license.
- Access to an insured vehicle.
- TB clearance within the previous 12 months
Pay rate: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 / Year, depending on experience
