The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (ER) to provide quality patient care in an acute setting. This role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program and a current Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details- Schedule:
Nights, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week - Required Qualifications:
- 1‑year recent (within the last 3 years) full‑time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (in the state where care is provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) with completion within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with completion within 6 months of hire
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificate
