Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non‑profit that improves the well‑being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90‑bed nursing facility.
The PositionWe're looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to provide nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
- Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduce them at table; inform them of meal schedule and snack times; and inform them of activity calendar and where activities are held.
- Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Respond to family requests immediately. Inform Charge Nurse when required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18.
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in‑house).
