Licensed Practical Nurse

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a compassionate LPN to deliver high-quality patient care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. The LPN will provide direct bedside care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support physicians and RNs in implementing care plans. Responsibilities include accurate EMR documentation, patient and family education, wound care, and adherence to infection control and safety standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and self-care
• Uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support care plans
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach in all interactions
