Imagine Development is looking for a Residential Estimator & Project Coordinator to support our growing team by helping projects move smoothly from pre‑construction through execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of estimating and the satisfaction of keeping projects organized, on track, and moving forward.

Imagine Development specializes in custom residential construction, renovations, and design‑build services throughout Hawaii. From early planning and site development to final construction, we create distinctive homes that reflect each client’s vision while delivering an exceptional building experience. Our team believes great projects are built through preparation, communication, and attention to detail.

As Residential Estimator & Project Coordinator, you will support both pre‑construction and active projects while working closely with ownership, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Prepare detailed estimates, quantity takeoffs, and preliminary project budgets
• Review construction plans and specifications to ensure complete project scope
• Support project scheduling, two‑week look‑ahead planning, and documentation
• Coordinate change orders, procurement activities, and project updates
• Maintain accurate Buildertrend project information and workflows
• Communicate with office staff, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Help improve project organization, operational processes, and team accountability
• Participate in planning meetings and assist with day‑to‑day project coordination

• 3+ years of experience in residential estimating, project coordination, or construction operations
• Experience with custom residential construction preferred
• Strong Buildertrend experience is required
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and follow‑through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a high level of accountability
• Currently living on the Big Island or willing to relocate

• Deliver accurate, organized estimates with minimal missed scope
• Maintain current and reliable Buildertrend project information
• Keep communication flowing between the office, field teams, and trade partners
• Help projects stay organized and moving forward through proactive coordination
• Contribute to a smooth, professional experience for both clients and internal teams

Salary: $75000 - $85000 per year
