Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week Hawaii travel assignment requiring an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

• Active Hawaii RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Emergency room experience recommended

• Work in a 4-bed/4-room ICU/CCU unit within a hospital setting
• Care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:2 depending on acuity, with additional staffing called in for ventilated patients
• Provide after-hours PACU recovery coverage
• Shift is nights with rotating schedule and must be open to work any shift
• Required to float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER based on individual competency level
• Scheduled for 80 hours every 2 weeks with no exceptions
• Coordinate and provide individualized age-appropriate care for surgical patients and those with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
• Includes 12 hours of hospital orientation covering HR, safety, risk & quality management, IT, and EMR training
• Unit orientation includes 1-2 day shifts and 1-2 night shifts with a staff RN, along with completion of an orientation/competency binder
