Unit Overview

5-bed comprehensive OB Unit covering Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Outpatient Testing.

Note:

This facility utilizes paper charting.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, AND Nursery/Couplet Care (
  Strictly required ).
• Target Start Dates: April 6, 2026 and May 4, 2026.
• Floating: Flexibility to float to other clinical departments when OB patient census is low.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
• Fetal Monitoring Certification

• Maternal & Labor Care: Manage antepartum, labor, postpartum, and high-risk OB conditions (PIH, placenta previa, placental abruption, prolapsed cord, VBAC, GDM, PTL, PROM). Administer and titrate IV drips (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin).
• Procedural Support: Assist anesthesia with intrathecal/epidural placement; support C-sections and post-op recovery; manage IUPC, ISE, amnioinfusions, and external cephalic versions (ECV). Interpret fetal heart rate tracings for physicians.
• Newborn & Nursery Care: Provide care for well-babies, phototherapy patients, and Special Care Nursery infants. Perform newborn resuscitation, APGAR scoring, circumcision assistance, PKU blood draws, and newborn hearing screens.
• Clinical Procedures: Start adult and neonatal peripheral IVs, perform adult and neonatal Accu-checks, and manage outpatient Non-Stress Tests (NST) and observation patients.

• Newborn & Specialized Care: Ohmeda Infant Warmer, Neopuff, Oxygen Blender, Bilibed & Neoblue Phototherapy, Echo screen Hearing System, SCD Machines
