Pavement Inspector - Mid

Overview

Tactica Solutions is searching for a Pavement Inspector to provide accurate field data for transportation network and airfield pavement planning. This role supports safe, reliable pavement assets through condition assessment, record maintenance, and timely repair recommendations.

Location:

Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

• Serve as the tactical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pavement assets supporting the TNAP AMP.
• Conduct pavement-condition assessments, including Pavement Condition Index surveys, and validate field data for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain current pavement-condition information in the PAVER Sustainment Management System (SMS).
• Translate TNAP AMP lifecycle strategies and degradation curves into localized preventive maintenance plans for the operations flight.
• Identify emerging pavement failures that fall outside long-term AMP forecasts and initiate appropriate repair requirements and risk notifications.
• Collaborate across multiple flights to coordinate oversight and execution of utility infrastructure projects.

Education / Certification:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Pavement inspection certification from an institution accredited in the United States.

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
• At least 5 years of pavement inspection experience.

Clearance:

• Satisfactory outcome of a background investigation for Tier 1 access is required.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
