Dry Dock - Pump Truck Driver

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has awarded DHO JV a $2.8 billion task order under an $8 billion indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award construction contract awarded in November 2021 to DHO JV to replace a dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

We are currently seeking an operator for a concrete boom pump truck. This position will be responsible for driving the truck, and safely transporting and placing concrete with highly specialized pumping equipment. The selected candidate will work with other departments including foremen, operators and laborers to ensure concrete is poured accurate and meets the project specifications. Previous experience with the equipment and this type of work is required for the successful applicant.

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License:
  Valid CDL
• Must possess Hazmat (Hazardous Materials) and Tanker endorsements
• Must have a DOT physical certification and be able to pass mandatory pre-employment and employment drug/alcohol testing.
• DBIDS approval is a condition of employment for this job.
• Minimum of three (3) years of running a concrete pump.
• Must be able to provide a clean traffic abstract.

This position is located in Oahu, Hawaii. No relocation allowance is available; this position is for local candidates or those willing to relocate at their own expense only. This is a unionized position, successful candidates must be willing to become a member of Local 3 if they aren't already.

Compensation, pension, health benefits and other employment perks are determined based on the collective bargaining agreement.
