Overview:
As a strategic partner to a leading global cloud networking company, the team is expanding and seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in EVPN/VXLAN data center architectures and advanced BGP routing. This role supports large‑scale enterprise and data center networking deployments and involves design validation, automation support, implementation, and customer‑facing technical engagement.

• Support large‑scale data center network deployments for enterprise customers
• Review and validate EVPN/VXLAN leaf‑spine architectures
• Provide architecture guidance and deployment recommendations
• Design and implement leaf‑spine network solutions
• Lead migrations/interconnects from Cisco, Juniper, and other vendors to Arista
• Assist with configuration builds and provisioning automation using Python, Ansible, and Chef
• Support implementation activities and change control execution
• Conduct POCs and deep validation testing
• Perform bug scrubs and recommend code‑level improvements
• Interface with TAC, internal development teams, and customer stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable network architecture solutions
• Provide architectural consultation to customers as needed
• Maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders

• Must‑have expertise:
  • EVPN / VXLAN architectures
  • BGP / MP‑BGP
  • L2
    
    VNI stretching
  • L3
    
    VNI routing (symmetrical vs. asymmetrical)
  • Data center switching and routing
  • Leaf‑Spine architecture deployments
  • Arista infrastructure environments
  • Network automation using Python and/or Ansible
• Preferred certifications:
  • Arista ACE (L3 or L5)
  • CCIE (Data Center or Service Provider)

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering
• Strong experience designing and deploying data center networks
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale routing architectures
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to document architectures, tickets, and technical recommendations clearly

Some travel may be required depending on deployment activity and customer engagement needs.

Relocation assistance or travel support is available for qualified candidates relocating from the U.S. West Coast.
