Operations Research Specialist
We’re looking for an expert in defense missions to lead complex research and analytics projects for the Department of Defense, primarily working on Navy challenges. In this role you will design, develop, and oversee DoD systems and contribute to mission‑forward solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and oversee modeling, simulation, and analytics systems for DoD.
- Partner with analysts and stakeholders to solve complex Navy challenges.
- Apply operations research techniques to improve defense mission effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience using Navy modeling and simulation systems or in operations analysis and research.
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. military operations.
- TS/SCI clearance (required). Applicants must undergo security investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree (required). Master’s preferred for modeling, virtual environments, and simulation.
- Experience working in a U.S. Navy Command.
- Knowledge of Navy programs and missions.
- Background in Engineering, Operations and Research, or related fields.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
CompensationSalary range: $86,900 to $198,000 (annualized USD). Compensation is based on experience, education, and location.
